Who is Invited: All congregations in our Synod and everyone you want to bring with you! 

Last year was so much fun, we are doing it again!

We are one Synod of 72 congregations and so many people! Block parties are a fantastic opportunity to get to know your neighbors, share food, music, and games, and build relationships. We are looking to bring people together and to encourage everyone to share more about who you are, where you come from, and something from your culture, and have some fun while we get to know each other. That would be amazing! Maybe you have a recipe you'd like to share that somebody in your congregation loves to make. Great! Bring some sample-size servings to share and perhaps a copy of the recipe. Maybe there is an activity that is special to your congregation or important to the community. Please share it with us! Maybe your congregation is great at kids' activities. Go ahead and bring it for kids that may be attending! We want to share ourselves and our stories and understand more about who we are as a Synod. If all you plan to bring is yourself, that is more than enough! 

We specifically invite all youth who attend the ELCA Youth Gathering to come as a reunion from your time in New Orleans! 

There will be a bounce house and water slide for the kids!
